Silver Trout Estates Conditional Letter of Map Revision Silverthorne, Colorado

Vernon Hope is the Senior Project Manager and Leslie Hope is the water resources engineer. Mrs. Hope performed stormwater design and floodplain analysis for an eighteen lot subdivision along the Blue River. The flood analysis consisted of assisting the Town of Silverthorne in establishing the existing 100 year floodplain and floodway limits for the Blue River utilizing HEC-RAS.

A Conditional Letter of Map Revision was prepared based on the proposed grading within the 100-year floodplain. The proposed 100 year and 500 year floodplain limits were established for the Blue River.

The project included a 26,700 SF commercial / retail building on US 319. Hydra Engineering, LLC was responsible for civil engineering design of the site. The project required permits from FDOT for both a driveway permit that included offsite roadway improvements and for utility crossings of US 319. Permits were also secured from NWFWMD under the Phase I ERP process. This project was the 11th project submitted under the new process.

Hydra Engineering, LLC was responsible for civil engineering design of the 3,405 square foot fast food restaurant. The project required permits from FDOT for both a driveway permit that included offsite roadway improvements. Permits were also secured from NWFWMD under the Phase I ERP process.
